Most workout apps treat a missed day as a failure. The streak resets, the badge goes dark, and the next session starts with a reminder of what you did not do. That can get someone through a first week. It is a poor record of training after that.
A streak counts calendar days. It does not say whether the session covered the work you meant to do, or whether the last squat was heavier than the one before it. Two people can share a thirty-day streak and have done completely different training.
Pact keeps the log and leaves the scoreboard out. You open the app, do the session, and leave. A missed day stays a missed day. The next session is still there when you come back. Showing up is the habit. The app does not add a second habit of protecting a number.
If you want the session written down, the Android gym log is the place to start: sets, reps, and weight, saved as what you actually did. If you want those numbers to mean something next month, progressive overload without a scoreboard is the other half.
Pact is the app for that kind of record. It is on Android, and the home page is Pact.
