A gym log for sets, reps, and weight on Android

What to write down in a workout log so the next session has something real to compare against.

A gym log is a list of facts. For each exercise you write the sets, the reps, and the weight. That is enough to see whether today matched last time. Extra fields are useful only when you will look at them later.

The log is for the session you are in, not for a feed. During the set you should be lifting. Between sets you write the number down and rest. If the app asks you to share, react, or repair a streak before you can save the set, it is doing a different job than logging.

On Android, the practical test is whether you can finish that note when the gym Wi‑Fi is crowded or missing. Pact is built offline-first: the offline workout tracker keeps the session on the phone and syncs when the connection is back.

The other test is what the log is for. Pact does not turn those sets into a streak. The note from a workout app without streaks is the reason: the record should survive a missed day.

When the session is done, you leave. Next time, the last sets are there to beat, match, or repeat on purpose. That history lives with Pact on Android.
